Vela Air uses a capability-based model rather than a simple linear tier. XC and Pilot are peer plans that cover distinct flying disciplines. Pro gives you both. All plans include Fly Safe’s core safety features.

Seasonal plans
If you fly a defined season — gliding March to September, or foot-launch April to October — a seasonal plan may work out cheaper than paying month-by-month. Plans automatically drop to Fly Safe outside the season window and reactivate at the start of the next season. You pay for seven months and fly year-round with a safety-only tier in winter.
All paid subscriptions include
- 14-day free trial with full feature access, no credit card needed to start
- 14-day cooling-off period under UK consumer contract law
- 30 days’ notice before any price increase
- Cancel any time; data remains accessible until the end of the paid period
- 30-day payment grace period before service changes take effect
Club plans
Club plans are negotiated per organisation. The standard base includes 10 instructor seats and 20 pilot seats, with additional seats available at per-seat rates. Contact us to discuss your club’s requirements.

Start with Fly Safe for free. Every paid plan includes a 14-day trial with full access, so you can evaluate before committing. If you fly both GA and soaring, Pro works out cheaper than Pilot + XC separately. If you fly PPG alongside gliding, XC includes Free Flight.
